Does copyright protect pornography?

An article by Amburn Law’s, Intellectual Property attorney Lina Asmar was recently published in Michigan Lawyers Weekly. The article discusses the aggressive legal action taken by producers of pornography against those that are illegally downloading and the revenue stream they have created through this action. Ms. Asmar discusses the issue that most cases are settled and do not reach the courts. If they would see their day in court, it could be argued that copyright law never intended to protect content that is deemed obscene. Read More here.
